Anywhere that is special to you! I can photograph in your home or document your family having good time at the fields or woods, playing in the creek or at the beach, or exploring the downtown area. Feel free to ask for recommendations if you can't decide one.

For outdoor sessions, lighting is usually best in the early morning hours right after sunrise or 1-2 hours before the sunset if you want warm glowing “golden light” look. I’m inspired by the light and comfortable to work with any light at any time of the day. We will have absolutely great time if you want to embrace different light with me, as long as you are aware of light affects the tones of photos.

For indoor sessions, sunny days are usually recommended depending on the layout of the house. However, we can choose the best lighting conditions based on the weather forecast. If you’re not concerned about potential noise from higher ISO settings, we can also proceed regardless of the weather.

Wardrobe should be comfortable and reflect who you are. Colors are better coordinating and complementing with each other than matching matchy; play with textures and materials and add layers and accessories. I love to help with styling, and encourage you to send me pictures of your outfits so I can help to look at colors.
