If you’re looking for places that are both photogenic and relaxed, here are a couple of neighborhoods I highly recommend:

Alberta Arts District
Often considered one of Portland’s most creative hubs, the Alberta Arts District is packed with character. Richmond & Ladd’s Addition
These neighboring areas are known for their charming homes, tree-lined streets, and peaceful atmosphere. Think beautiful gardens, unique architecture, and a nostalgic, almost storybook-like vibe. The streets are clean and calm, with plenty of interesting shops, restaurants, and bookstores tucked in between. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxed stroll and capturing some aesthetically pleasing shots—without the usual downtown hustle.
